'Impact U' Frat Party Throwback
City: Dallas, Texas
Date: September 11, 2013
To complement our client's 'Impact U' theme, UV was asked to design and produce a corporate level welcome event based on a Fraternity House. The event needed to convey the fun of college social life while supporting and promoting camaraderie among the employees. With a short window to execute on our plan, our challenge was to transform Union Station, a working train station, into an authentic 80's style frat house that provided maximum interaction and impact.
The client wanted to play up the start of college football season and general "back to school" vibe of early fall to reflect the training and education focus of their meeting. Our frat party addressed their needs by creating distinct themed areas that provided conversation starters around every turn. From comfy lounge seating, dancing, communal dining, interactive games, and settings for toasting to new friendships, we made sure the venue was chockfull of excellent ways for guests to connect.
Jello shots? Giant Jenga? Black light Ping-Pong? We transformed historic Union Station into the ultimate Frat House, featuring eight themed rooms and a patio offering up a beautiful view of Dallas. Whether enjoying a tequila sunrise with fellow "pledges" at the Luau Rush Party, challenging their compadres to a game of foosball in the Game Room, showing their team spirit at the Tailgate Party, or just kicking back in the cozy Chapter Room, this collegiate throwback was the ultimate bonding experience that made our client want to “Shout” with joy!
