Chomp into some delicious, health-conscious Soul Food on Pico Boulevard just west of La Brea Avenue in the heart of Mid-City.

Serving up dynamic Southern and Cajun specialities with a Californian flare, everything at My 2 Cents boasts both amazing flavour and freshness.

HOLLYWOOD

Back in business for dine-in, Soregashi. This unassuming strip mall sushi joint (like most good Japanese restaurants in LA) is charming, outstanding, and reasonably affordable.  Ultra-authentic and offering daily fish specials, this is not the place to order Spicy Tuna Rolls or you may get a sneer from the Sushi Chef!  Other Izakaya favorites include A5 Beef Tataki, Tempura, Karage, Seaweed Salad, Seasonal Specialities, and many more.

 

CULVER CITY

For some of the tastiest fried chicken this side of the Mississippi, stop by Honey’s Kettle Fried Chicken for some mouth-watering deliciousness.  Located in Downtown Culver City, this is a fun place to bring the family or to go solo and enjoy good old-fashioned comfort.

Maurice Harris is a Los Angeles based artist who is best known as the visionary behind Bloom & Plume, a bespoke floral design studio located in Echo Park.  Maurice’s unique point of view, sense of humor, craftsmanship and dedication to his community has made him both one of the most sought after floral designers in Los Angeles and one of the most followed florists on Instagram.  Harris’ clients include some of the biggest names in Hollywood as well as top tier brands such as Louis Vuitton, The Row, Goop, Opening Ceremony, Dior, Nike,Gucci, Valention, Dolce & Gabbana, Warby Parker, MOCA and LACMA.

 

LOS ANGELES, PHILADELPHIA & NEW YORK

Support & Feed is an initiative created to help those in need during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond in three ways.  One way is to provide support for Los Angeles, New York and Philadelphia plant-based restaurants who are suffering as a result of the current pandemic.  The next method is to provide support for vetted charitable organizations and marginalized groups who have been greatly impacted by the crisis such as children’s charities, homeless & domestic abuse shelters, food banks, family & senior centers, first responders and hospital workers.   And finally, to raise awareness and educate on the importance of a plant-based diet for the health of the planet and to influence programs that feed those in need to provide at least 50% plant-based meals.
