The activity...

Bike rides! Every time I take a new trail I am amazed at finding a new epic park right in the center of San Antonio. Living downtown I am only ½ a mile from the River Walk (which is a total of 15 miles long!) and the Missions reach has great wide paths perfect for riding.  Every time I say “this is my favorite part of the river walk” (It’s always a different part) Last weekend we went to Mission Espada, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is definitely my new favorite.

The alternate job…

Audience engagement or membership for a performing arts center or community theatre. I love supporting the theatrical arts!

The feeling…

That feeling when you reunite with your best friend for the first time in a long time. It’s like, pinch me are you really here? Am I really here? Are you really here? I have friends across the states and it’s always an adventure when we reunite. I love when they visit me in San Antonio, I already have a 3 day itinerary ready based on their personalities. What? I can’t help myself!

The accessory…

Earrings! I’ve got just about every shape, size and color 

The snack…

Chips and guacamole. Or better yet when they make it for you table side, a must experience on the San Antonio list (the secret ingredient to the best guacamole is fresh squeezed orange juice).

The place…

Puerto Rico! The people, the culture, the ocean, the food, the dancing. Take me there now please.

Water colors! I love complex patterns, and putting unique color combinations together. I recently did a virtual, live painting class with a local San Antonio artist hosted by the San Antonio Missions of Facebook @SanAntonioMissionsNPS

Blue! Though I’m normally wearing pink, blue is my truest essence.
