DMC Network Board Retreat Recap: Chicago Edition

Our recent board retreat brought the DMC Network board and HQ team together in Chicago for two incredible days of connection, collaboration, and a little classic CHI-town fun. With partners spread across the globe, moments like this are rare and powerful. Getting everyone in the same room to share ideas, align on strategy, and truly have a seat at the table reminds us just how special this network is.

A huge thank you goes to board member Barb Campbell of CTC Destination Management and her phenomenal team. They hosted us with warmth, energy, and true Chicago flair. From the moment we walked into their office (and were greeted by their furry coworkers), we felt right at home. Their hospitality and pride in their city made the experience unforgettable.

Of course, we leaned into the destination. We toured iconic Wrigley Field, tested our skills in a few fun challenges, and enjoyed an amazing meal at Naveen’s Cuisine, a beloved local staple. And yes, we officially proved that DMC professionals can handle just about anything, including braving a Chicago winter with style.

Most importantly, we spent meaningful time discussing and strategizing for the year ahead. The conversations were thoughtful, energizing, and forward-looking. We are excited about what’s coming and inspired by the strength of this community.

Being together in Chicago reinforced the power of this network and the people behind it. We’re grateful, motivated, and ready for an incredible year ahead. We can’t wait for everything to come.
