The DMC Network readies for a year of industry-wide recovery, with strongest-ever leadership team
The DMC Network is pleased to announce the promotion of Aoife Delaney, CIS, CITP, to the role of Vice President, Business Development.
This promotion signals the DMC Network’s commitment to growing bigger and better than ever before at the outset of 2022, and ensures its HQ leadership team will be in a solid position to work with all DMC Network partners during a promising year of recovery and growth.
“It’s been a difficult period for our industry, but we know the path forward relies on strong industry and member relationships,” said Jeremy Gardner, chair of the DMC Network Board of Directors. “We are excited to promote Aoife to a Vice President role and to work alongside her and the rest of the team to ensure the DMC Network stands out as an industry leader in the DMC space.”
Aoife says she’s looking forward to deepening existing relationships within the DMC Network and the industry associations she’s part of, particularly SITE on whose board she still serves having just completed her term as global president.
“The DMC Network is an incredible organization. I’m eager to step into this new role and strengthen connections with our clients and our current DMC partners, as well as focus on new perspectives as we grow the number of destinations across our Network,” said Aoife.
Based in Dublin, Ireland, Aoife has over 15 years of industry experience, including five years as the DMC Network’s Director of Global Sales & Marketing for Europe & Asia. She is an active member of many industry associations and has been the recipient of many industry awards, including the 2016 Smart Women in Meetings Award, the 2016 CIC Pacesetter Award for Outstanding Achievement and Leadership in the Meetings and Events Industry, and the 2020 Wise Icon Award with SITE Ireland.
Aoife will commence her Vice President role with immediate effect.
