Cindy Hartner begins new DMC Network leadership role

The DMC Network continues to strengthen their senior leadership team with the advancement of this well-known industry veteran.

The DMC Network is pleased to announce the promotion of Cindy Hartner, CSEP, to the role of Vice President, Global Sales.

In this new role, Cindy will join the senior leadership team to provide greater sales support throughout the wider Network and will offer key account management support to DMC and industry partners.

“We couldn’t be more excited to elevate Cindy into this new leadership position,” said Angie Weigel, DMCP, current chair of the DMC Network board and President of Destination St. Louis.

“This is a milestone year for the DMC Network with our clients busier than ever before, and we look forward to Cindy’s continued leadership and efforts to support these clients and showcase the value of the experienced local DMC professionals within our Network,” Angie continued.

A renowned industry thought leader, 2023 marks Cindy’s 10th year with the DMC Network. She has also served as president of MPI Washington State, president of ILEA Dallas, and has served on the boards of ILEA Seattle and MPI Dallas/Ft. Worth.

“This position represents a thrilling new challenge for me as I mark a decade working alongside the incredibly talented destination experts in our Network,” said Cindy about her new role. “The year ahead looks super bright for the DMC Network, and I’m eager to celebrate many new accomplishments together throughout the rest of 2023.”

Cindy will begin serving as the Vice President of Global Sales effective immediately.
