Legally, her name is Andre’a — pronounced “And-Dre (like Dr. Dre) – uh” — but most people simply know her as Drea (and truthfully, it’s much easier that way!).
Born and raised in Joplin, Missouri, Drea has always had a passion for creating moments that connect people. After earning her degree in Entertainment Management from Missouri State University, she set her sights on the music industry — specifically hoping a job with Live Nation might bring her one step closer to Justin Bieber (It didn’t, but it did spark her lifelong love for live experiences).
Drea soon discovered her true calling in the meetings and event industry, where her mix of creativity, connection, and operational savvy found the perfect stage. She began her career with Maritz Global Events, gaining hands-on experience in guest services, meeting coordination, and onsite operations before moving to Chicago to join an incentive house and later, a destination management company.
Today, as Director of Global Sales with the DMC Network, Drea partners with her clients to craft meaningful connections between people and places. Her approach blends strategic sales insight with an authentic, relationship-first mindset — a combination that’s earned her a reputation as both a trusted collaborator and a creative powerhouse.
An active member of SITE Chicago, Drea has proudly served as Vice President of Events for three years and will assume the role of President-Elect in 2026. Her leadership reflects her belief that community, creativity, and collaboration are what make this industry thrive.
When she’s not traveling, brainstorming event themes, or connecting with clients, you’ll likely find Drea serving in her church’s kids ministry, experimenting in the kitchen, tending to her plants, or finding joy in a good deep clean (yes, really). She’s also a proud single dog mom to Domino, her spirited Shih Tzu and unofficial Zoom co-host.
Fun fact: During the pandemic, Drea took an unexpected detour from events — renting and selling construction equipment, where she became certified to operate forklifts and aerial lifts.
