With over 34 years of experience in destination management and event planning, Lyons has led ACCENT New Orleans to national recognition through her vision, passion, and commitment to excellence. Under her leadership, the ACCENT team has produced award-winning events and earned a reputation as one of the top DMCs in the region.
She has been honored twice as a Top Woman in Business by New Orleans CityBusiness, received the inaugural HandCraft Heroes Award for her advocacy for women with cancer, and was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the DMC Network for her exceptional contributions to the industry to name a few.
A graduate of Louisiana State University, Lyons is also a passionate community supporter. She founded FestiGals in 2011—a signature celebration created to inspire and empower women—and continues to support numerous nonprofit organizations. Most recently, Lyons and her team delivered an extraordinary series of corporate events in conjunction with Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, showcasing the city’s spirit and hospitality on a national stage.
